Our family has been involved in agriculture for over four generations, in both Washington State and California. Our passion for wine and Clayhouse wine styles are essentially inspired by our estate Red Cedar Vineyard, just east of Paso Robles. At Red Cedar, the varied terrain, elevations, slopes and microclimates have been carefully established as distinctive individual varietal and clonal selection blocks. In winemaking, we pursue a traditional, time-honored approach. Each bottling is carefully crafted from selected grapes, hand-picked from small vineyard blocks that over the years have proven their ability to produce exciting wines. The Clayhouse winery itself is named for a historic adobe - a clay house - on the vineyard property.

At Clayhouse, we make three distinct collections of wines:

- Our Estate series wines are selected from the best estate vineyard blocks at Red Cedar:
