Discover "The Essence of Paso Robles" with a visit to Robert Hall Winery. Taste award-winning wines, tour our underground wine caverns - the largest on the Central Coast or enjoy a game of bocce ball on one of our regulation courts. Our wedding/special events venue features the Meritage dining room, an open-air amphitheater, garden terrace and a courtyard with a reflecting pool and fountains.

Robert Hall Winery is the honored recipient of the 2010 "Golden State Winery" award from the California State Fair Wine Competition. At the 2010 competition there were 2,786 wine entries received from over 600 wineries. The single Golden Winery honor was awarded to Robert Hall Winery for having the greatest number of wines winning the highest number of awards. This honor represents the first time in the competition's history that a Paso Robles or Central Coast AVA winery has ever received this honor.

Tucked into the hillsides east of Paso Robles, along California's enchanting Central Coast, lies a dream 40 years in the making. This is Robert Hall Winery, where years of hard work and infinite attention to detail are invested into every bottle of wine we make. As farmers first, the goal is to nurture the land and coax from it the finest fruit possible from the sustainably farmed vineyards on the Hall Ranch - each with its own personality and each expressing unique nuances that strive to capture the essence of Paso Robles.

After traveling to several winegrowing regions throughout the United States and France, Robert Hall and Margaret settled in Paso Robles. Their goal - to produce an ultra-premium wine in this wine region known for its diverse terroir. Robert Hall first purchased the land for his "Home Vineyard" in 1995. Soon, the "Bench Vineyard" (where the winery, caverns and Hospitality Center are located) and the exquisite "Terrace Vineyard" were added - all chosen for their diversity and grape growing capabilities. As true stewards of the land, Robert Hall Vineyards & Winery were participants in the Central Coast Vineyard Team's Sustainability in Practice SIP™ pilot program for sustainability certification. Robert Hall Winery unanimously passed the SIP™ standards for the vineyards of the Hall Ranch, by meeting the requirements and completing the available management enhancement points. Each SIP certified wine features the SIP seal on the bottle indicating our dedication to sustainable farming practices.

In July 2001, with nearly 300 acres of wine grapes in production, Robert Hall welcomed Winemaker Don Brady to Robert Hall Winery. Brady, a graduate of Texas Tech University, has more than two decades experience in bringing the fruit to the bottle. His wines have won multiple awards and helped put Texas viticulture on the map. Don's wines were featured at several White House functions during both President Ronald Reagan and George Bush' terms. In 2001 Don Brady earned worldwide acclaim as the recipient of the International Wine and Spirits "Wine of America" Award, and was recognized by the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance in partnership with the Independent Grape Growers of Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo Vintners Association as the "Winemaker of the Year" in 2006.

Today, Robert and Margaret have established very solid roots in Paso Robles. Throughout the years, their family members have joined them in this ever-growing wine community. Robert Hall Winery is the result of an old-fashioned work ethic combined with traditional winemaking techniques, state-of-the-art equipment and a team of dedicated professionals.
