PasoPort is a small, family-owned winery dedicated to producing the finest fortified dessert wines, driven by our passion and commitment, which express the potential of our region to produce this style of wines with particular distinction and unparalleled quality. In our “humble and all-bets-on-the-table” opinion, the winegrowing region of Paso Robles is an untapped and truly special resource for making extraordinary, multifaceted, port-style fortified wines and table wines, which compete within a quality level on an international scale.

So, why should our business model focus on a niche product, i.e. port-style wines? Well, our explanation is grounded in the belief that the Westside of Paso Robles has the potential for producing dry-farmed grapes on soils which parallel, in all important quality parameters, to the premier, wine-producing areas throughout Europe and the wine-producing world. Steve Glossner, as a time-tested Paso Robles wine consultant, possesses an impressive resume dating back nearly two decades, to producing award-winning wines from estate vineyards throughout the Paso Robles appellation. Now, focused on producing fortified dessert wines and table wines for his own label, Steve hopes to start a new chapter in the history of winegrowing in the Paso Robles area
