STANGER » Profile
Did Daniel Stanger know his journey to the New World from Sundhausen (Alsace, France) in 1832 would eventually lead his descendants here to Paso Robles? Most likely not, but we’re glad it did and you will be too after you taste our estate grown wine.
We, at STANGER, wait up to 4 years after bottling to release wine at the proper time. Major wine critics have stated that our wines will peak in 7 to 9 years. Therefore the STANGER Reserve wines are released after they have sufficiently matured in the bottle. We will not release wines prematurely. Our current STANGER releases include 2009 Pinot Noir Reserve .. $114, 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve.. $49, 2008 Syrah Reserve .. $39, 2010 Tempranillo Reserve .. $38, 2009 “BENCH” Cuvee .. $39 and finally the "MASTER" Vineyard Blend $44. Quantities are small and availability is limited. Wine Club memberships are available and allow 20% discount on any wine purchases. Wine Club members will receive two – 6 bottle shipments (Spring & Fall) of the most sought after STANGER wines.
STANGER Ultra-Premium Reserve wines can be tasted at our original “old world style” tasting room at 5225 Hwy 41 & Creston/LaPanza Road. $10 tasting fee - waived with wine purchase. Wines by the glass are also available. www.StangerVineyards.com
