Frolicking Frog Cellars has Tasting Room in Downtown Paso Robles at 739-12th Street in May, we are pouring our savory wines inside Siegels Jewelry store across from the Park on the corner 12th & Park. Come by and say Hello and let us pour you some of our savory wines. The winery production facility is located on the west side of Atascadero on Hwy. 41 West. Our 5.3 acre estate is on Frog Pond Mountain nestled among the oaks with a coastal influence where our wines are produced and cellared. Stu Goldman, is the Winemaker, a Goldsmith and an Artist. Stu received his start in wine making as a Home Winemaker in 1989, working with his first wine from a old Mission grapes from his estate planted in 1971. His very first vintage in 1988 was made from Old Mission grapes, it was Rose that garnered a Silver in the California Mid State Fair homewine competition. We associate winemaking, "like an expression and appreciation of art." As small producers and owners of our Atascadero based winery, Frolicking Frog, was founded in 2000. Our first commercial vintage was released in 2003, since then, ten vintages have been produced. We offer wines of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Rose of Cabernet and several Red Blends including a Bordeaux, called "Frogman" as a tribute to our courageous Navy Seals. Some our fruit is sourced predominately from the Paso Robles Appellation, only our Cabernet Franc is sourced out from Monterey County and last year our first estate grown Pinot Noir went into production. We are pleased to have our wines garnering awards in many wine competitions. The winery is visited by appointment only with a warm and friendly welcome that will await you. Our vision is that wine tasting is an adventurous journey of discover, "you know what you like" and we desire to deliver that unique wine experience in every glass. Our Wine Club, "Horny Frogs" ensures you 3 bottles of savory wines, twice a year with 20% discount. It is our believe that, "a fine wine begins with nature's blessings and virtuous expectations!" There is no shortage of time when tasting great wine!
