Frolicking Frog is located on the westside of Atascadero on Hwy. 41 West. Our 5.3 acre place is nestled in the mountains among the oaks with a coastal influence is where we make all the wines. Stu Goldman, Winemmaker, Goldsmith and Artist has been making wine since 1989 as a Home winemaker. Our first wine then made was a Mission Rose from our estate old Mission grapes that were planted in 1971. We associate winemaking, "like an expression and appreciation of art." As small producers and owners of our Atascadero based winery, Frolicking Frog, formerly EROS since 2000. Our first commercial vintage was released in 2003, since then, seven vintages have been produced. We offer wines of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc from the Paso Robles appellation and our Cabernet Franc from just outside the county from Monterey County, and has garnered awards at both State and local level wine competitions. All of our fruit is sourced predominately from the Paso Robles Appellation. The winery does not have a Tasting Room open to the public. We are visited by appointment only and
a warm welcome and friendly smile will await you. Frolicking Frog vision is that wine tasting is an adventurous journey of discover, "you know what you like" and we desire to deliver that unique wine experience in every glass. The Wine Club, "Horny Frogs" ensure three bottles of wine, twice a year. It is our believe that, "a fine wine begins with nature's blessings and virtuous expectations!"
