We are a family-owned and operated winery committed to the production of small lots of ultra-premium, hand-crafted wine specializing in Zinfandel utilizing our old world head-trained and dry-land farmed estate vineyard. Stacked Stone Cellars began in 1999 when owner, Don Thiessen, united a love of fine craftsmanship to a love of wine. With a reputation for the finest wood working available, Don knows the commitment it takes to create something of world-class standards.

Stacked Stone is named after the elaborate stacked stone landscaping adorning the grounds where it is made.

Stacked Stone Cellars has work with many of the finest grape growers in the Paso Robles Appellation to produce grapes capable of producing world-class wines. Stacked Stone has also taken full advantage of its Westside Paso Robles soil by planting a head- trained, and dry-land farmed Estate Zinfandel Vineyard, producing a low yield of highly concentrated fruit. Although Stacked Stone Cellars flagship wine is Zinfandel, some of the other blends produced are The Gem (Rhone), The Quarry (Meritage/Bordeaux), and Port.

Nestled within our surrounding vineyards and rolling hills is our beautiful ancient oak studded dining area, and tasting room. The grounds at Stacked stone Cellars are available year-around for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate meetings, and social events. Whether your event calls for an exquisite five course catered meal for 200 guests or a delightful BBQ with a few friends, Stacked Stone's out door kitchen can accommodate all your needs.
