Overview
Cass Vineyard was planted in 2001 on 146 acres of ENTAV clones alongside the Huer Huero riverbed at the intersection of Geneseo Road and Linne Road. Planted largely in Rhone varieties, including Mourvedre, Syrah, Grenache, Viognier, Petite Sirah, Marsanne & Roussanne. In addition to These Rhones we ahve Cab Sauv, Petite Verdot, Cab Franc, Malbec & Merlot. We are on the hotter side of town and so selected varietes that are known to thrive in warm climates. Soils are alluvial, with clay loam in most portion of the vineyard.
Location
Located 4.5 miles south of Rt 46 East, and 5 miles east of Paso Robles. About half way between Paso Robles and Creston.
