Overview
Dave Caparone began his work with Italian grape varieties in the mid 1970s. Nebbiolo was planted in 1980, Sangiovese Grosso in 1982, and the fist commercial planting of Aglianico in the United States in 1988. Dave has done extensive work with Nebbiolo clonal selection.
