The 11th Annual Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival weekend, held March 14th through 16th, proved to be a Zinful good time for all.

The Paso Robles Vintners and Growers Association announces that it will donate a portion of the 11th Annual Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival auction proceeds to the following North County beneficiaries: The Paso Robles Library Foundation, to be used to enhance the collection of viticulture/wine industry books and periodicals; Loaves and Fishes, funds will be used to carry on the work of providing food to those in our community who have needs; The Paso Robles Art Association, to be used toward children’s programs; and the California Mid-State Fair Mission Wine Cellar Project, to be used toward the building of this important wine industry project .

"We are pleased to be able to make these donations to the community," remarked Susan West, Operations and Event Manager of the Paso Robles Vintners & Growers Association (PRVGA), the producer of the event.
The wineries in Paso Robles Wine Country showed their support by putting together a variety of extraordinary auction lots, both wine and lifestyle packages, for the Live and Silent auctions. Bidders, both local and those visiting from out of the area, enthusiastically bid these lots.

Blend Master, Rich Hartenberger of Midnight Cellars created an outstanding winemaker’s collaborative blend, integrating the 2001 vintage Zinfandel from 24 Paso Robles area wineries. Festival goers enjoyed winemaker dinners, wine club member receptions, educational seminars, gourmet barbeques, live entertainment, vertical and barrel tastings, winery open houses and special events all weekend long.

The 12th Annual Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival is scheduled for March 19th- 21st, 2004. For information, please call (805) 239-8463 or visit
