MERIDIAN VINEYARDS HOSTS SIXTH ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION
Meridian Vineyards announced today it will host the Sixth Annual Meridian Vineyards 4th of July Celebration, featuring a fireworks display and live entertainment, on July 4, 2003 at the winery in Paso Robles. Tickets are $15 per adult and $10 for children ages 3-17. Food and wine will be available for purchase.
"We’re thrilled to open our backyard to the local community as a place to have fun while celebrating our country’s heritage," says winemaker Signe Zoller. "This is our sixth year running, and we’re still having a great time hosting this event."
At 6:00 p.m. on the 4th, ticket-holders are invited to bring a picnic blanket or low-back chair to the winery and settle in for the evening. The free-spirited Cadillac Angels will play their unique blend of Rockabilly/Americana until dusk. The fireworks display will begin as the sun goes down. Traditional foods such as tri-tip sandwiches, salads, hot dogs, and watermelon will be sold by Cahoots Catering. Soft drinks, bottled water, and Meridian Vineyards wines will also be sold.
Tickets are available at Meridian Vineyards (805) 226-7133, at the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce (805) 781-2777 and at the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce (805) 238-0506, while supplies last. Tickets will be pre-sold only – none will be available at the door. Meridian Vineyards is located at 7000 Highway 46 East, seven miles east of Highway 101. No fireworks, no ice chests, no outside food or beverages, and no parking on Highway 46 will be allowed.
