PASO ROBLES WINE COUNTRY ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES ITS 2014 MEMBER EDUCATION PROGRAM
Seeking Professionals Willing to Share their Expertise
Paso Robles (October 10, 2013) The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance announced today its 2014 Member Education Program. This program is created to enhance the professional development of its members, addressing the needs of different business types and levels of responsibilities within. The program includes a Monthly Luncheon Series, Bimonthly Grower Seminars and Quarterly Member-wide Educational Seminars.
“One of our core beliefs at the Alliance is to offer educational resources for our members which optimizes their products and businesses,” said Kaley Honzel, Membership Manager at the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance. “If our member businesses provide higher quality service or utilize the tools presented to sharpen their competitive edge, then the entirety of the region benefits.”
Monthly Luncheon Series: The monthly luncheon series is designed to build camaraderie, exchange ideas and provide education to tasting room, wine club and hospitality personnel. Each month the lunch rotates locations and includes an educational topic important to the wine business in Paso Robles. The audience is typically hospitality front-line staff responsible for the first, middle and last impression that wine enthusiast consumers have of Paso Robles.
Bimonthly Grower Seminars: The bimonthly vineyard series is designed to provide educational opportunities for growers, vineyard managers and/or production staff. Topics vary including laws and regulations, farming practices, market updates, sales/marketing trends, etc.
Quarterly Member-wide Educational Seminars: The quarterly educational seminars focus on broader topics pertinent to the overall wine industry and related businesses. Topics vary including general marketing/social media training, wine tasting education, safety, employment laws/regulations, etc.
In order to provide the best topics that will ultimately increase the competitiveness of each business through its ambassadors, the Alliance is seeking professionals to present educational topics at the three strategies set forth.
