MERIDIAN VINEYARDS HOSTS FIFTH ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION
PASO ROBLES, CA â€“ Meridian Vineyards announced today it will host the Fifth Annual Meridian Vineyards 4th of July Celebration, featuring a fireworks display and live entertainment, on July 4, 2002 at the winery in Paso Robles. Tickets are $15 per adult and $10 for children ages 3-17. Food and wine will be available for purchase.
"Weâ€™re thrilled to open our backyard to the local community as a place to have fun while celebrating our countryâ€™s heritage," says winemaker Signe Zoller. "This is our fifth year running, and weâ€™re still having a great time hosting this event."
At 6:30 p.m. on the 4th, ticket-holders are invited to bring a picnic blanket or low-back chair to the winery and settle in for the evening. The ever-popular Sugar Daddy Swing Kings will play until dusk. The fireworks display will begin as the sun goes down. Freckles the Clown will again be painting faces. Traditional foods such as tri-tip sandwiches, salads, hot dogs, and watermelon will be sold by Cahoots Catering. Soft drinks, bottled water, and Meridian Vineyards wines will also be sold.

Tickets will be pre-sold only â€“ none will be available at the door. Meridian Vineyards is located at 7000 Highway 46 East, 7 miles east of Highway 101. No fireworks, no ice chests, no outside food or beverages, and no parking on Highway 46 will be allowed.
