Explore more than just the Origins of Zin during Zinfandel Festival, March 18 – 20; Limited Tickets

Paso Robles, CA (March 16, 2011) Zinfandel’s mysterious origins were revealed with the hit video, Zinfandel – Paso’s Wine, receiving nearly 70,000 YouTube views in only six weeks. The video teases the 2011 Zinfandel Festival and wine enthusiasts are invited to further explore the history and mystery of Paso’s heritage varietal during the 19th Annual Zinfandel Festival, March 18 – 20, 2011. Paso Robles Wine Country reminds the community to buy Zin Tasting & Wine Country Auction (March 19) tickets in advance to avoid lines and guarantee entrance. Tickets are available online at until Saturday, March 19 at 12 p.m. A limited amount of tickets will be available at the door, provided they are not sold out.

•Satisfy the sweet tooth at the Chocolate & Port Parlor featuring a multitude of chocolates and dessert style wines
•Relax, and take a break at the Plaza Lounge, sponsored by Crush & Roll
•Rub elbows with Rex Pickett, author of Sideways who will be signing copies of his newest release Vertical

Tickets -- All Zinfandel Festival ticket packages include unlimited wine tasting and a commemorative wine glass.

Tickets may be purchased online at until Saturday at 12 p.m. Must be 21 and older; photo identification verifying age will be required at time of entry. In addition to this zinful marquee event, more than 140 wineries host events throughout the weekend, including winemaker dinners, vertical tastings, massage brunches and so much more.
