Promotion in Support of Grand Tasting Tour Offers Discounted Tickets and Opportunity to Win Trip

(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.) – The Paso Robles wine region located along California’s Central Coast has partnered with key retailers in the Scottsdale / greater Phoenix metro area to promote the region’s week long marketing blitz culminating with a Grand Tasting, February 9 at El Chorro Lodge, featuring 30 winemakers. Wine enthusiasts will find discounts on Paso Robles wines and opportunities to meet the winemakers at special dinners and tastings from the third largest and fastest growing wine region of California. AJ’s Fine Foods is the prime partner with ongoing promotions in their 13 area stores throughout January. Eight wine brands from Paso Robles are featured at special pricing through February. AJ’s customers may purchase an exclusive discount to the Wednesday, February 9 Grand Tasting and enter a sweepstakes opportunity for patrons to win an all-expense paid four-day trip to Paso Robles Wine Country. Videos promoting each of these brands and winemakers scheduled to be at the Paso Robles Grand Tasting are currently running on YouTube at EaterAZ TV. These irreverent, often comical videos highlight the personality of the wine region and the winemakers set to pour for Valley wine enthusiasts.

The Paso Robles Grand Tasting event takes place on Wednesday, February 9, at El Chorro Lodge in Paradise Valley from 6-8 p.m. Wine friendly fare will be provided by the historic El Chorro Lodge along with unlimited tasting from 30 Paso Robles brands. The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance is also partnering with marquee Valley restaurants and independent retailers for special tastings and dinners for residents to experience the wines of Paso Robles February 7 - 10. Winemaker dinners at 5th and Wine, Big Daddy’s BBQ, Cowboy Ciao, Petite Maison and Rancho Pinot will showcase four to five Paso Robles winemakers at each dinner. Retailer Arcadia Fine Wine will offer dinner patrons the opportunity to purchase wines featured at the dinners.
