(Los Angeles, CA; January 10, 2011) Paso Robles Wine Country converges on Los Angeles during the 2011 Grand Tasting Tour, February 26 – March 5. This exciting program will showcase California’s continued growth in world-class winemaking and the culinary arts through a series of events in and around the City of Angels from the foothills of Pasadena to the coastal community of Santa Monica. Activities feature Paso’s winemakers and include winemaker dinners, in-store tastings and the marquee event, the Grand Tasting showing more than 100 wines on Wednesday, March 2.
“The Grand Tasting Tour is hot-off-the-heels of world renowned accolades from publications including Wine Enthusiast and Wine Spectator,” said Stacie Jacob, executive director of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance. “Wine aficionados are invited to meet Paso’s winemakers and discover the buzz about Paso Robles Wine Country during the week of activities in Los Angeles.”
The signature Grand Tasting takes place at Los Angeles’ historical event venue, Vibiana (411 S. Main Street, Suite M100) on Wednesday, March 2, 2011. The afternoon tasting, 1 – 5 p.m. is open to members of the wine trade and media. The evening tasting, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., features more than 35 wineries, and an array of gourmet appetizers by RoomForty. Tickets are $60 per person and are now available on www.pasowine.com.
Winemaker dinners will be taking place in Los Angeles throughout the week of February 26 – March 5. Acclaimed restaurants include RoomForty, Wilshire Restaurant, Palm Restaurant and Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion, showcasing multiple Paso Robles brands.
