CELEBRATE THE 27TH ANNUAL PASO ROBLES WINE FESTIVAL, MAY 15 – 17
Only Five Days Left to Purchase Presale Tickets for Marquee Events

Paso Robles, CA (May 11, 2009) The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance reminds the community to purchase your presale tickets to the 27th Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival. Two marquee events – RESERVE held on Friday, May 15 and the Wine Festival Grand Tasting held on Saturday, May 16 showcases of the region’s distinct wines. Presale tickets help you avoid the lines and are available at www.pasowine.com until 10 a.m. on Friday, May 15. Festival tickets will be on sale Saturday, May 16 at Santa Lucia Bank (13th and Spring Streets) in downtown Paso Robles beginning at 11:30 a.m.

New in 2009 - Wine Country Auction
Wine enthusiasts are invited to participate in the new Wine Country Auction set to kick-off during the RESERVE event on Friday, May 15. All auction items are unavailable through commercial outlets and include special blends, large format bottles and lifestyle packages exclusive to Paso Robles Wine Country.

• RESERVE Live Auction - Features five auction lots and only RESERVE ticket holders have the opportunity to bid: Friday, 5:15 – 6 p.m. at the Downtown City Park on the steps of the Carnegie Library.
• Festival Silent Auction – Features 19 silent auction lots and will be held at Studios on the Park (1130 Pine Street). All festival attendees are invited to bid on silent auction items: Silent auction opens on Friday at 6 p.m. and temporarily closes at 7 p.m. that evening. The auction will reopen on Saturday at 11 a.m. and will permanently close at 3 p.m.

All wine tasting ticket packages are limited and are available for purchase until 10 a.m. on Friday, May 15 at www.pasowine.com. RESERVE and Premium ticket levels are available by advance purchase only. Festival and Designated Driver/Child ticket levels will be available on Saturday beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Paso Robles Santa Lucia Bank (13th and Spring Streets) provided they are not sold out. Ticket packages include:

• RESERVE - $125 - Friday RESERVE event - 4 - 6 p.m.; Saturday - 1 - 5 p.m. Advance purchase only
• PREMIUM - $75 - Saturday 1 - 5 p.m. Advance purchase only.
• FESTIVAL - $55 - Saturday 2 - 5 p.m.
• DESIGNATED DRIVER/CHILD $15 - Saturday 1 - 5 p.m. - four free non-alcoholic beverages,commemorative beverage container and entry to event area.

In addition to these marquee events, more than 110 area wineries will host special activities throughout the weekend including winemaker dinners, food pairings, cooking classes and winery and vineyard tours to complete your Paso Robles Wine Festival Weekend. Be sure to plan a day of case collecting from those favorite wineries discovered during the festivals in the Paso Robles Downtown City Park. 3 p.m. Silent Auction Closes

WHERE: Paso Robles Downtown City Park
Wine Festival guests are invited to park at the Mid-State Fairgrounds and use the shuttle running from 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
