Each year, Paso Robles Wine Country brings new, fresh enhancements to their events while upholding time-honored traditions. The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance collaborates with wineries, vineyards and local businesses to showcase the region's wine events. Highlights on the 2009 calendar include:


Paso Robles Grand Tasting Tour: February - April, 2009 - This unique tour provides a chance for wine lovers and members of the trade and media from all over the country to discover the diverse wines of Paso Robles (without making a trip to California's Central Coast). The 2009 Grand Tasting Tour offers an opportunity for attendees to meet wine producers from Paso Robles in an intimate setting in Los Angeles, Orange County, Chicago and San Antonio. Also in attendance are hospitality partners, including hotels, restaurants and tour companies who complete the Paso Robles Wine Country experience. 17th Annual Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival: March 20 - 22, 2009 - Zinfandel Festival Weekend brings together a culmination of the classic American wine grape in three distinct events - RESERVE, Paso Robles Wine Country Auction and Grand Tasting. New in 2009 is the addition of RESERVE, featuring the region's best Zinfandels, held on the eve of Zinfandel Festival. The Wine Country Auction held on Saturday features one-of-a-kind wine and lifestyle auction packages only available on the auction block. Directly following is the Grand Tasting featuring vast selections of Zinfandel and Zinfandel blends from more than 40 Paso Robles producers. Local chefs preparing local American cuisine at the Grand Tasting further tantalizes your taste buds completing the Festival experience. In addition to the collective RESERVE, Auction and Grand Tasting more than 100 area wineries will offer a compilation of individual events such as winemaker dinners, barrel samples and musical entertainment.

27th Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival: May 15 - 17, 2009 - There is no better time to visit Paso Robles Wine Country than for this marquee wine event. Wine Festival Weekend brings together all the flavors Paso Robles Wine Country has to offer when wine tasting meets culinary delight - a demonstration kitchen, wine seminars and an artisan alley are only a few delicious components showcased in the downtown city park.

The weekend begins with the Friday RESERVE event featuring Reserve, Library and Barrel samples.
