PASO ROBLES WINE COUNTRY ALLIANCE AND TWIN CITIES COMMUNITY HOSPITAL HOST FREE FLU VACCINATIONS
PASO ROBLES, CA (November 6, 2008) The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance and Twin Cities Community Hospital have partnered again to host Free Flu Vaccination Clinics to the vineyard worker population. Vaccinations are available in both Shandon and Paso Robles beginning next week. The wine community has pledged its support to those who support them by giving these funds to causes that benefit the growing workforce and their families. These clinics are a result of donated funds from the 2007 Zinfandel Festival live and silent auctions.
"Flu vaccinations are a good way to maintain health and wellness," said Stacie Jacob, executive director of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance. "As the season changes and the weather begins to cool, flu season becomes a reality in the community." Anyone nine years of age through adulthood is invited to take advantage of this opportunity. This outreach supports those that make up the back bone of the wine industry in San Luis Obispo County. No appointments are necessary to receive this vaccination and all walk-ins are welcome at the specified times below.
