The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance will launch its 2007 Grand Tasting Tour in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, February 13. More than 30 wineries will showcase wines from the Paso Robles American Viticulture Area (AVA) at the Broward Center for Performing Arts with events scheduled throughout the day for wine trade, media and consumers to taste the distinct differences of wines from Paso Robles, located along Californiaâ€™s Central Coast.
"South Florida is an exciting market to develop given that Florida is the top travel destination in the world, the second greatest wine-consumption state, and the economic gateway to Latin & South America," said Stacie Jacob, executive director of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance. "As one of the leading wine regionâ€™s in California itâ€™s important for Paso Robles to strengthen market share in South Florida."
