PASO ROBLES WINE COUNTRY SEEKING WINE FESTIVAL ARTIST SUBMISSIONS
Submissions Open Today; December 15 Web Site Offers More Info
The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance announced today that submissions for artwork for the 2007 25th Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival are now being accepted for review by the 2007 Paso Robles Wine Festival Committee. Additionally, the Web site www.pasowine.com offers interested artists an opportunity to learn more about the submission process and download an artist syllabus. One piece of artwork will be selected to become the flagship artwork for the 2007 Paso Robles Wine Festival, scheduled for May 19, 2007. This is an open call to all artists, with a $500 commission available.
"The local art community is such a great contributor and complement to our industry," said Wine Country Alliance Executive Director Stacie Jacob. "With 2007 being the 25th year celebration of the festival we believe it is a perfect opportunity to involve the community. There is so much talent in our area; we can hardly wait to see the submission for this special celebration."
The selected artwork will appear on the Official Wine Festival guide, festival brochure, posters and other promotional materials. The artist will receive credit on all materials and have the opportunity to display and sell other artwork at a downtown Paso Robles business prior to the festival.
