Harris Ranch Beef and Paso Robles Wine Country to be featured at July 15 Festival in Bridgeport

Bridgeport Ranch Barns and Terrace announce food and wine parings for the second annual "The Best Of" Country, Beef and Wine Tasting Festival 2006 to be held on Saturday, July 15, 2006. The scenic outdoor setting of Bridgeport Ranch Barns and Terrace, located at 68 Twin Lakes Road in Bridgeport, California, with the backdrop of the Eastern Sierras, will set the stage for a fabulous evening of food, wine, and entertainment. The second annual event will once again feature Harris Ranch Beef and premium wines from the Paso Robles Wine Country.

The evening begins at 6:00 pm and will feature "The Best Of" tasty beef appetizers, paired with "The Best Of" Paso Robles Wine Country premium wines, while listening to the music sounds of singer and composer of cowboy culture and heritage, Dave Stamey. Food and wine will pair together surrounding the Barns and Terrace, allowing guests to wander from recipes-to-wine tasting. Guests will be welcomed with their choice of an EOS Estate Reserve Fume’ Blanc or Vina Robles Petite Sirah, and will have the special opportunity to meet the winemakers or representatives from Wild Horse Winery & Vineyards, Clautiere Vineyard, Peachy Canyon Winery, Opolo Vineyards, Stacked Store Cellars, Halter Ranch Vineyard, Casa de Caballos Vineyards, and Grey Wolf Vineyards & Cellars.

Harris Ranch Beef and Centennial Livestock of Selma, California is known for its aged-to-perfection beef that is served up in local Bridgeport restaurants - Restaurant 1881, Casa Michaela, Rhino’s Bar & Grille and the Bridgeport Inn. Harris Ranch Beef, Centennial Livestock, Dave Wood and John Lacey along with these local restaurants will "steer up" tantalizing dishes and Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance will pair up its premium wines with each dish. Hays Street Café will be featuring desserts also paired with Paso Robles wines.

"Great Paso Robles wines and great beef appetizers will be featured this year. Just imagine beef medallions with Syrah glaze topped with black truffle butter from Restaurant 1881 paired with a 2003 Estate Syrah from Clautiere Vineyard…it is just enough to make ones mouth water," says Benny Romero, owner and event producer of Bridgeport Ranch.
