EBERLE WINERY RANKS IN TOP 20 OF
California Wine Winners 2005!
PASO ROBLES-For the fifth year in a row, Eberle Winery is proud to take its spot in the top 20 award-winning wineries in California. The annual publication, California Wine Winners, ranks wineries on a point system for gold, silver and bronze medals earned in the 18 major wine judgings in the state. Eberle Winery is one of only two wineries on the Central Coast to make the top 20 of this very prestigious publication and was among the smallest wineries to win in this competition.
The following include Eberle Wineryâ€™s results in different varietals/group competitions:
2001 Eberle Cabernet Sauvignon-Ranks 7th in the state with 4 bronze, 2 silver and 2 gold medals. $25/bottle.
1999 Eberle Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon-Sweepstakes Award at L.A. County Fair. $75/bottle.
2002 Eberle Sangiovese-Ranks 4th in the state with 3 bronze and 3 silver awards. Also received one of the highest individual wine totals in the competitions. $16/bottle.
2003 Eberle Mill Road Viognier-Highest Award Winning Viognier! 7 awards including 5 bronze, 1 silver and 1 gold. $18/bottle.
2002 Eberle Barbera-Highest Individual Wine Total for Italian Reds! 8 awards including 2 bronze, 5 silver and 1 sweepstakes award. $18/bottle.
2003 Eberle Muscat Canelli-Ranks 5th in the state for White Varietals and Blends with 2 bronze and 4 silver awards. $12/bottle.
Dallas Morning News Wine Competition Results:
Also as of Feb. 2005, Eberle Winery took home several medals at the esteemed Dallas Morning News Wine Competition. Out of some 3,000 entries, Eberle earned a Gold Medal for our 2003 Mill Road Viognier in this competition!
