ROBERTS TAPPED TO LEAD PRVGA BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN 2004

PASO ROBLES, CA – Neil Roberts, Viticulturist with Robert Mondavi Central Coast-Cuesta Ridge Vineyards, has been selected by the Paso Robles Vintners and Growers Association Board of Directors to lead the organization as Chairman of the Board for 2004.

"It is my pleasure and honor to serve as this year’s Chairman of the Board for the Paso Robles Vintners and Growers Association (PRVGA). The passion and the commitment of the PRVGA members show in the wines and the vineyards that are grown. The Board of Directors for 2004 is very diverse, organized, focused and committed to the future of the PRVGA. As an organization there are events and programs that are in place, but the association should never get complacent and we should continue to improve," stated Roberts.

Serving with Roberts on the Executive Committee are Vice Chair, Dennis Collins (Big Red Vineyard); Treasurer, Jon Cagliero (Cagliero Vineyards); Malani Anderson, Winery Chair (Turley Wine Cellars); Mary Baker, Zinfandel Chair (Dover Canyon Winery); Deborah Baldwin, Winery Co-chair (Justin Winery & Vineyards); Dana Merrill, Grower Co-chair (Pomar Junction Vineyard); Rob Murray, Grower Chair (Red Hills Vineyard); and Gary Stemper (Eagle Castle Winery) complete the nine-director team.

"Neil’s commitment to the vintners and growers of Paso Robles Wine Country has been demonstrated time and time again. He generously gives his time and consistently shares his knowledge of progressive and innovative viticultural practices," states Sheila Griffie, PRVGA Executive Director.
