VINEYARD MARKETING SEMINAR TO BE HOSTED BY QUALITY ALLIANCE
The Paso Robles Appellation is fast becoming known as a source of top quality, premium winegrapes. In these very competitive times, itâ€™s more important than ever for winegrape growers to implement an aggressive vineyard marketing plan, taking advantage of the most up-to-date information on the current bulk wine market and the outlook for the future of the industry plus the added value of association membership.
The Paso Robles Vintners and Growers Associationâ€™s Quality Alliance is pleased to present "Vineyard Marketing â€“ The Howâ€™s and Whyâ€™s of Marketing for Growers" on Friday, February 20th, 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Paso Robles Library Conference Center. Scheduled speakers include: Mark Chandler, Lodi-Woodbridge Winegrape Commission (Value added to your product by being aligned with an association); John Ciatti, Joseph Ciatti Co. (Bulk wine outlook for 2004); Brian Clement, Turrentine Wine Brokerage (Grape outlook for 2004); James Ontiveros, Bien Nacido Vineyards (Marketing for growers); and Mary Baker, Dover Canyon Winery (The howâ€™s and whyâ€™s of vineyard marketing).
There is no charge for PRVGA members to attend "Vineyard Marketing"; $50 for nonmembers. Pre-registration is required by 5:00 p.m. February 18th to (805) 239-8463 x400 as seating capacity is limited.
