Wine
Each year one Paso Robles Zinfandel producer is selected as the Zinfandel Festival Blend Master. This year Mike Giubbini of Rotta Winery has been given the honor of being named the 2010 Zinfandel Festival Blend Master. He has been working hard collecting the best Zinfandel from throughout Paso Robles to create the 2010 Collaborative Zinfandel Blend. While there will be over 100 Zinfandels and blends available at the Zin Tasting and Wine Country Auction, but only ZIP ticketholders will have the opportunity to taste the 2010 Collaborative Blend. The blend will be available for purchase as a stand-alone auction item package and as part of a vertical package, with blends from previous years, through the Wine Country Auction.
Community
In addition to celebrating the bright, vibrant flavors and culture of Zinfandel at the Zin Tasting and Wine Country Auction, money raised through the Wine Country Auction will be used to support the vineyard worker population who play a major role in bringing the spirit of Zinfandel alive. A portion of the funds raised will be donated to health, education and greater community programs for the local vineyard workers and their families.
