"Locals Only" Winemaker Dinner with Artisan
Experience a winemaker dinner in the Eberle caves featuring only “locally grown” food and wine. Chef Chris Kobayashi is well known for his commitment to using only the freshest, local ingredients to create masterful dishes at Artisan Restaurant. Chef Chris searches out local and organic produce and his hand selected proteins are wild caught or sustainably farmed and contain no growth hormones or antibiotics. Eberle Winery wines are also made with a “locals only” philosophy. All Eberle fruit is either grown on the Paso Robles Estate or contracted from partners and vineyard growers in Paso Robles. We feel this combination of locally grown food and wine will create a meal like no other—and offered only at Eberle Winery. Make your reservation soon for this dinner in the caves. This rare event is limited to 40 people. $150/pp or $120/Cellar Club Members. Contact Sheri Kennedy at 805.238.9607 or email sheri@eberlewinery.com

Summer Concert Series
June 22, 2008 John Jorgenson
The John Jorgenson Quintet features guitarist John Jorgenson, a founding member of the Desert Rose Band, the Hellecasters, and six-year member of Elton John's band. Artists ranging from Barbra Streisand to Bonnie Raitt to Earl Scruggs have sought out Jorgenson's guitar work. Recently, John Jorgenson was chosen to portray Django Reinhardt in the feature film Head in the Clouds.
At a John Jorgenson Quintet performance, audiences are amazed by John's dazzling guitar work as well as his mastery as a clarinet player and vocalist. Whether playing his own accessible compositions or classic standards, John and his band make music that is equally romantic and ecstatic, played with virtuosity and soul.

July 26, 2008 Joe Craven

His stage setup more often resembles a yard sale. But there's more to Craven than meets the ear. Educator, visual artist, former museum curator, motivational speaker, actor/storyteller and festival emcee, Joe’s work is born out of respect and reverence and seeks to honor the creative energy in everyone. An advocate of the folk arts, Joe’s educational mission is to empower individuals to take possession of their own music and tell their stories by “demystifying” art through self-expression as a daily ritual.

Eberle Winery Dinner featuring Bern
Bern’s Steak House, Tampa, FL
One of America’s top steak houses, boasting one of the largest wine lists in the world, comes to Eberle Winery for a meal to remember for our annual Friends of the Winery dinner. Since 1956, Bern’s Steak House has worked with a passion (or some call it an obsession) to provide the best meat, fish and produce available to its customers. Bern would only accept the “very, very best, even if it meant more work and time for preparation, or a higher price paid to begin with the best raw products.” To that end, Bern’s Steak House is now considered an iconic restaurant in the U.S.A. and should be at the top of your “must dine” list. Please join us for a night of spectacular food, fabulous wine and great friends as we bring Bern’s to Eberle Winery! 805.238.9607 or sheri@eberlewinery.com

Carmody McKnight Estate Wines 6th Annual Cork n Pork the Fabled Pulled Pork from the Pit
Winemaker Greg Cropper will begin preparing 36 hours in advance his fabulous, award winning, eighteen-hour 200 pound whole pit roasted pork. If it is in the ground 18 hours why does it take 36 hours to prepare you are asking? The fire must be started 18 hours in advance prior to lowering the pork into the earth, this ensures that the embers are at the optimal cooking temperature. Greg has been preparing this for family and friends for over twenty years. When Carmody McKnight won the Grand Prize at the 2003 Paso Robles Winemaker Cook-Off with this extraordinary style of cooking, we decided to share it with you on an annual basis. The whole pork roast will be un-earthed at noon sharp! Executive Chef Charles D. Paladin Wayne will be on hand once again to add his magic with an array of artistic dishes that will not only compliment the pork but also the full array of estate wines. This event has become so popular that in 2007 we had to roast THREE sows! RESERVATIONS REQUIRED so we can plan accordingly. Complimentary to Inner Circle & Club Motif members / $35.00 for non members. For information or to make a reservation email info@carmodymcknight.com or contact Kristi at 800-282-0730 x 4.
