WINE FESTIVAL: PHOTOS

The 29th Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival took place May 20 - 22, 2011 with three marquee events in Paso Robles' downtown city park.  Friday kicked off the festivities with RESERVE - 57 wineries and nine chefs showcased their artistry at this early evening soiree.  Saturday picked up the festivities with the Grand Tasting in the park where 77 of Paso Robles' top wineries featured over 300 wines.  Artisanal food purveyors provided samples and guest Chef Mark Sullivan of Spruce in San Francisco showcased his culinary talents along with local Chef Shaun Behrens of Luna Red at the Demonstration Kitchen.  The Winemakers Seminar featured six Paso winemakers expanding on the qualities of their wine moderated by a local sommelier team and paired with cheese from Vivant Fine Cheese.  The Paso Robles Wine Festival culminated at the Wine Country Auction and Dinner which featured a team of chefs whose creations delighted the participants with their epicurean craft.  Twenty-three wineries played host, providing a unique experience for all which raised over $100,000 for local charities.
